Ian McDermott

Ian McDermott was once described as 'a practical visionary who makes things happen'. In 1988 he founded International Teaching Seminars (ITS) which is now the most successful NLP and Coach training organisation in the world. Named one of Britain's Top 10 Coaches and 'the Coaches Coach' (Independent on Sunday), he has pioneered the integration of NLP and Coaching.

A prolific author he is also a UKCP registered psychotherapist. He has co-authored some of the most widely read and respected books in the field, including, The Art of Systems Thinking, Brief NLP Therapy, NLP Coach, Your Inner Coach and The Coaching Bible. His books have been translated into 15 languages.

However, what matters most to him is creating the means for people to come home to a fuller, more authentic experience of being themselves. For Ian this is a spiritual path. It guides, informs and directs his life. And it is the driving force behind every programme he creates.

Tim Halbom

Tim Halbom is an internationally renowned NLP trainer, developer and author. His pioneering work with his wife Kris Halbom has resulted in The Wealthy Mind training which ITS offers once a year. Tim is co-author of ‘Beliefs:Pathways to Health and Well-Being’ and ‘NLP:The New Technology of Achievement.’ He has been training NLP for 20 years, and is known for his precision, humour, and his ability to make NLP easy to learn and understand.

Tim is the owner and director of the NLP Institute of California. Tim has done extensive research in the areas of stress, health, financial prosperity and personal productivity. He also maintains a busy private coaching and consulting practice in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Suzi Smith

Jan Elfline

Jan Elfline is a Certified Professional / Personal Coach and an NLP Master Practitioner and Trainer. She was among forty professional coaches worldwide to receive the designation of Master Coach from the International Coaching Federation in 1998.

Jan is founder of the NLP Coaching Institute, a US training organisation that helps professional coaches develop extraordinary skills by combining NLP with business and personal coaching. Her background includes a doctorate in Education, a master’s degree in Art, and over ten years’ experience in university level teaching.

Since 1993, Jan has worked exclusively as a Consultant, Coach and Trainer in business and with private individuals. Jeff Staggs

A professional coach for the last seventeen years, Jeff Staggs is a senior partner of Business Coaching International, Inc., and Co-CEO of Entrevis Inc. He specializes in coaching senior executives and their teams both in the U.S. and internationally. He is a senior faculty member of the Coaches Training Institute, an adjunct faculty member of the Capella University School of Business and was the principle strategist for integrating coaching into their MBA program.

Committed to helping coaches develop Jeff has supervised over 100 coaches and is active in developing the coaching profession. He is a founding member of the Minnesota Coaches Association and the Personal and Professional Coaches Association [PPCA], now part of ICF. Jeff has a background in clinical psychology, is an ICF Master Certified Coach and currently serves on the Credentialing Committee for the ICF.

Pamela Richarde

Dedicated to life-long learning, Pamela has studied multiple disciplines. Passionate about delivering into 'unknown' territories, her work over the years has taken her around the world, exploring culture, language, education, philosophy, spirituality and the arts.

An educator for over 25 years, and a Trainer and Professional Coach for the last 15, she is also the former Chief Operations Officer and Vice President of Coach U, Inc. A cross section of Pamela's formal studies include a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from California Polytechnic University, a Masters degree from California State University Fullerton in Performing Arts, and a certificate of completion from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

An experienced executive, she has owned her own business for many years and has played various other roles in life as well, a few of which include: an actress, writer, martial artist, director, producer, curriculum development specialist and mentor coach. Pamela is an ICF Master Certified Coach and President Elect of the International Coach Federation.

Julio Olalla

Julio Olalla was born in Chile. After the military coup d'etat of 1973 he and his family left Chile and established themselves in Argentina, where he founded and developed a furniture company. However, a military coup in Argentina forced them to leave and establish themselves in the USA.

Once in the USA Julio joined a group of Chilean refugees and American Professors in the University of California at Berkeley to study Philosophy of Language and Biology of Cognition with a view to making them of practical value.

In 1990 Julio founded The Newfield Network to train individuals in coaching and to bring coaching into socially and environmentally responsible organizations. Newfield has also developed executive orientated programs in partnership with George Mason University and Villanova University in the USA and Chile.

Julio is an ICF Master Certified Coach and has been a regular keynote speaker at ICF conferences in Europe and the USA. Julio, his wife and his third child live in Boulder, Colorado, USA.
