
Ian is External Faculty at Henley Business School and a co-creator of the Henley MSc. in Coaching and Behavioural Change. His work is featured in the Open University’s MBA course ‘Creativity, Innovation and Change’. Ian is also an Honorary Fellow of Exeter University Business School where his focus is on entrepreneurship and innovation.
The man who bought NLP and coaching together he is a thought leader in the field of leadership coaching and the author of fifteen books on NLP, coaching and systems thinking including The NLP Coach, and The Coaching Bible. Ian has a global perspective working with international companies such as Shell, BP, GSK, and EY. He is also on the Association for Coaching’s Global Advisory Panel.
From practical experience he knows what it takes to run a long-term successful business. He founded International Teaching Seminars in 1988: it continues to prosper and to pioneer the practical applications of the latest neuroscience research.
Ian is a UKCP accredited psychotherapist and a Diplomate in Professional Coaching of the International Academy of Behavioural Medicine, Counseling and Psychotherapy. Named one of Britain’s Top 10 Coaches and described as “the Coaches’ Coach” (Independent) he has spent the past decade training the next generation of coaches.


Pamela Richarde, MA, MCC
Pam Richarde is a pioneer in the field, and as co-creator of the International Coach Federation’s core coaching competencies has helped shape what we know coaching to be today. A seasoned facilitator, speaker and trainer, she has led hundreds of courses in both virtual and live settings, working with individuals in a variety of cultures, regions and business contexts.
A Master Certified Coach (MCC), as well as a Professional Mentor Coach Pam is also a founding member of the Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO) and a past President of the ICF.
Pam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree in Performance/Directing. She was born in Berkeley, California and has lived in the UK, the Middle East and the Caribbean. A dedicated explorer, she is also a licensed hypnotist, and holds a 2nd degree black belt in Northern Style Shao Lin Kung Fu.

Pat White, MA, MCC
A coach and consultant to Fortune 100 companies, Pat has been specializing in team coaching for over twenty years. Having experienced her own business challenges in growing a consulting firm after many years of managing in the corporate arena, she brings a wealth of experience to the actual business of coaching.
Prior to starting her own firm, Pat was a VP of Management & Organizational Development. A trained facilitator, she is certified in MBTI, DISC, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and is also a Certified Heartmath Coach. A certified Professional Mentor Coach she works with new and experienced coaches who want to become more masterful in both their skills and growing their businesses.
Author of many articles for business books and other periodicals, Pat presents yearly at professional conferences. Her education includes graduate training in counseling as well as a Master’s degree in Organizational Development. Most of her graduate and post-graduate work has been done at Columbia University and the New School for Social Research in NYC. She now works with emerging leaders in the MBA program at Vanderbilt University.
She is a Certified Graduate of Coach U, Inc. and a member of their faculty. She is also an ICF Master Certified Coach.

Terrie Lupberger MCC
Terrie has been coaching and contributing to the development of the coaching profession since 1995.
For nine years she served as CEO of Newfield Network, Inc., an international, ontologically based coach training organization. In that capacity she both led the organization and delivered coaching programs to individuals and teams around the world. She has managed and co-facilitated coach training programs at George Mason University and Villanova University.
Terrie is also a former Board Member of the International Coach Federation and has been a member of the ICF Credentialing Committee since 2002.
Terrie’s earlier career was spent working in two U.S. federal agencies over 14 years. At the Department of the Treasury, she was a senior financial systems analyst working to improve financial reporting systems. At the U.S. Courts, she was a senior manager helping to improve the operations of the District and Circuit court system.
Terrie is a contributing author to two books on coaching, A Coach’s Guide to Emotional Intelligence and The Handbook of Knowledge-Based Coaching. She is presently writing a book for coaches to help them better notice and work with the stories and assumptions their clients are trapped in that limit what’s possible. Terrie is a regular contributor to Task.fm, an online platform for connecting professionals to business expertise.

Professor Patricia Riddell
Patricia Riddell is a Professor of Applied Neuroscience and a chartered psychologist and chartered scientist. She studied Physiological Sciences at University of Glasgow, and obtained a Masters degree in Quantitative Methods Applied to Physiology from Imperial College before completing a doctorate in Physiological Sciences at the University of Oxford. She moved to New York to do research and teach at the City University of New York. There she began developing courses in neuroscience for undergraduates and graduates and which she then also did for Columbia University.
Since returning to the UK she has continued her research and teaching career pursuing a passion for neuroscience. She is particularly interested in the changes that occur in the brain as new learning takes place.
She is passionate about bringing the expanding knowledge that we have about the brain and how it drives behaviour to professionals generally. She believes coaches, trainers, leaders – and parents! – can get huge benefits from knowing how the brain works. She also loves creating cutting edge training tools that integrate and expand on the most recent findings in neuroscience.

Suzi Smith
ITS is very proud to present Suzi Smith as one of our team of International Master Practitioner trainers. Suzi represents the very best of NLP – unsurpassed skill, sensitivity and congruency. Suzi is co-author of ‘Beliefs: Pathways to Health and Well-Being’, and numerous NLP health CD’s.
As co-director of Anchor Point Associates USA and the NLP journal Anchor Point, Suzi has an international reputation as a trainer, author and consultant. She has extensive experience working with individuals and consulting for a variety of private and governmental organizations. One of her great skills is taking an important and sometimes complex subject and translating it into simple principles and strategies that you can easily implement in your everyday life.

Tim Hallbom
Tim Halbom is an internationally renowned NLP trainer, developer and author. His pioneering work with his wife Kris Halbom has resulted in The Wealthy Mind training which ITS offers once a year. Tim is co-author of ‘Beliefs:Pathways to Health and Well-Being’ and ‘NLP:The New Technology of Achievement.’ He has been training NLP for 20 years, and is known for his precision, humour, and his ability to make NLP easy to learn and understand.
Tim is the owner and director of the NLP Institute of California. Tim has done extensive research in the areas of stress, health, financial prosperity and personal productivity. He also maintains a busy private coaching and consulting practice in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Robert Dilts
Robert Dilts has led the way in creating numerous specific techniques to elegantly and effectively help people to change limiting beliefs. In the process he has created a whole range of different approaches which enable just about anyone to generate new and appropriate beliefs which give hope for the future, a sense of capability and responsibility and the experience of self-worth and belonging.
Robert Dilts’ name has become synonymous with excellence and commitment in the field of NLP. One of the most well respected developers and innovators in the field, Robert has been involved with NLP since its infancy in the early 70’s and is a seminal contributor to the basic concepts and presuppositions of NLP. His definitive books on NLP include ‘NLP Vol. 1′, ‘Applications of NLP’, ‘Roots of NLP’, ‘Beliefs: Pathways to Health & Well-Being’ and ‘Tools for Dreamers’.
