About The Course
This is an Advanced Coaching Programme. It is recognised by the International Coach Federation as offering training which meets ICF standards for Continuing Coach Education (CCE). It is registered as providing 120 hours/units.

On Mastery
The path to mastery can be trodden by all who are willing to commit and do the work. Mastery gives no special favours to the expert, the brilliant or the talented. It is extraordinarily democratic and even-handed.
Mastery takes time and experience, practice and perseverance. There is no quick-fix for becoming a master.
Mastery cannot be bestowed. It has to be learned and earned. This programme will give you the tools - but it will also help establish you in your kind of mastery.
So attending this programme will ensure you become more masterful on your road to mastery.
Mastery in Coaching
Mastery in coaching has this in common with all mastery. It requires being and doing. It is not enough just to know - nor even to know how to. Any path to mastery will involve learning as much about yourself as any skills you're learning.
Coaching Mastery means transformation - not just of the client but of the coach too. It involves committing yourself wholeheartedly while letting go of needing a particular outcome to be achieved. By transforming ourselves as coaches we transform the space of the coaching relationship and open new possibilities for transformation within our clients and their lives. At this level the space of coaching is not just the discrete coaching session. Mastery always touches the client's life as a whole.
Masterful coaches know that this path goes on forever, that it is not brilliance but perseverance that brings progress - and that every new peak of achievement is just the prelude to another plateau.

Supervision Learning Lab
The supervision learning lab will be conducted by phone. Jeff Staggs will listen to a recorded extract course participants coaching sessions for 5 - 10 minutes.
Jeff will then explain what he noticed in terms of patterns and ways of working and also suggest additional things that the coach might find supportive as they continue operating with their client. The other course participants are simply listening in on this exchange. Each person is learning from this real life paradigm and in the different learning labs that take place between the modules, different people can bring their own recordings to use as examples. You will be able to witness proficiency in action and at the same time learn innovative ways of working.
All the coaches Jeff has worked with in this way have found the experience exceedingly valuable. The Supervision Learning Lab is entirely voluntary and an extra bonus to the course itself.
An Integrated Comprehensive Training
Mastery is not to be found in just one school or any single approach. It can manifest in many different forms and has a varied lineage. For this reason it is important that you have access to different approaches if you are to honour your own path to mastery.
This programme is unique in giving you access to master trainers from different coaching traditions.
