The Way to Coaching

ITS is one of a handful of organisations worldwide to offer two full scale coach training programmes that are recognized by the International Coach Federation. This means that our trainings pass the highest quality thresholds to be found in the industry.

In addition we can offer you access to international coaches who are extremely sought after including Jan Elfline, Julio Olalla and of course Founder and Director of Training for ITS -Ian McDermott.

European Coaching Certification Training

The first NLP Coaching Training in the world to be recognised by the International Coach Federation (ICF), ITS NLP Coaching Certification Training is a 20 day course - it is a continual learning experience over many months. Successful completion of the training leads to certification as an NLP Coach and the opportunity to apply for full ACC or PCC accreditation from the International Coach Federation (depending on the amount of professional paid coaching hours already completed). This can be gained through ITS by completing the ICF examination process.

What is the ICF?

The international Coach Federation is the largest non-profit professional coaching association in the world. It is the world's premier Coaching body. It supports and fosters development of the Coaching profession while conducting the world's leading conferences and other educational events for coaches.

ICF Examination Process

Once you have completed and passed the European Coaching Certification Training with ITS you need to complete at least 100 hours of documented experience as a coach to qualify to sit the ICF Accredited Certified Coach (ACC) exam. We will send you a ICF welcome pack explaining the process. Once we have everything that is required including a record of the coaching, supervision hours completed and payment for the exam we will send you the ICF written examination. After this has been completed the oral examination will then be organised by the ICF as the final part of the examination route.

One - to - One coaching with ITS

ITS offers the opportunity to receive one to one coaching. Whether you need to advance your career, a better quality of life, personal happiness or a sense of well being ITS can help. Everyone's experience of the coaching process is personal, however common benefits emerge from talking with clients involved in on going coaching. They often mention that through coaching they have been able to:

• Create the time to think about and explore what is really fundamental, as opposed to being driven by urgent, but often non-important events in life
• Become aware of patterns of thinking and behaviour that have been holding them back or hindering progress
• Take positive action towards desired goals in a systematic and continuous fashion
• Be supported and challenged by their coach to achieve the life they really want to have
• Keep the commitments they made to themselves (previously they were very good at keeping commitments made to others but seldom kept those they made to themselves)
• Achieve a greater sense of well being
• Make important career decisions

Our one to one coaches are on hand to discuss your needs and will ascertain what type of coach is best for you.

All coaches selected as part of ITS coaching are well-known to us. They have been selected because they are not only highly skilled professionals, but also hold high ethical standards. They are rated as the best not only by ITS, but also by their peers through on-going peer elevation.

All coaches referred to you by ITS meet the following criteria:

Professional accreditation -

• Hold a NLP Practitioner, NLP Master Practitioner and NLP Coach certificate
• Have attended over 125 coaching specific training
• Are members of the ICF (International Coach Federation)

Commitment to on-going personal and professional development -

• Work with their coach on a weekly basis
• Have a supervisor

One to one coach sessions can be completed face to face or over the telephone depending on the circumstances suitable for you. With a number of different coaches we are certain to have a coach who can assist you.
