What is a blog?

A blog is a web page made up of usually short, frequently updated posts that are arranged chronologically— similar to a what’s new page or a journal. The content and purposes of blogs varies greatly—from links and commentary about other web sites, to news about a company, to photos, mini-essays and project updates.

How do I leave a comment?

Leaving a comment is simple. For each blog “post” there will be a link at the top labelled “Number of Comments“. Clicking into this will allow you to leave a comment on that article. We ask you to leave your name and details.

Why should I leave a comment?

If a certain opinion really stands out or raises an issue that you wish to debate further, this is your chance to pursue it. Commenting helps ITS to improve content and and in doing so makes the ITS blog a better platform for articles, updates and information to be shared.

Will I recieve a reply to my comment?

ITS endevours to answer as many questions or queries as possible, however these may not be answered on an individual basis.

Will my details be shared?

No. We follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access in accordance with the UK data protection legislation. Your email will not be shared with a third party.

How do I link to this blog?

Many blogging platforms allow you to use what is called a ‘Trackback’, this allows you to source our blog for information and share it with others. If you do have your own blog, don’t hesitate to link to us using this method.
